A brief history
I've lived in the fabulous city of Canterbury for over 30 years. I originally moved here to study sociology at the University of Kent and never left after graduation.

For several years I ran a recording studio while playing drums and trumpet in local bands. Really all I wanted to do was get on Top of the Pops but it seemed inevitable that my dreams would be dashed! So I headed in the opposite direction to stardom and in 1997 I qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor and ran a successful driving school covering Canterbury and the surrounding area. In 2006 I took another left turn by completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and worked as a primary school teacher for many years, once again relishing being in front of a crowd, even if they were only eight years old. Since 2017 I have again been operating as a driving instructor but continue to work in schools as a supply teacher.
